Senior Development Assessment Officer


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our positive and dedicated City Significant Team.

 

Parramatta is experiencing high levels of development activity with the redevelopment of key sites in the CBD, regeneration of residential precincts and redevelopment of former commercial and industrial sites throughout the LGA. Many of these projects are of a scale and type that makes them critical to the future of the city and Council has implemented a policy to ensure that these development projects are assessed and managed accordingly. This includes providing a lifecycle Client Management Services for development.


The focus of the role is the management of City Significant Development including, pre-lodgement advice the assessment of Development Applications and other major developments. This role will manage external consultants and internal processes, to ensure they are processed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.

 
What’s on offer
We are offering an attractive salary from $97,512.25 p.a. 
 plus Superannuation. City of Parramatta also offer excellent employee benefits which can be accessed by the successful candidate.

     
Participation in Council’s Motor Vehicle Scheme will be discussed with the successful applicant.
